Only if your front and rear calipers are different models. The pad shape follows the caliper, not the end of the bike it sits on: the same caliper front and rear takes the same Sinter pad, while two different calipers can each need their own. On Shimano DEORE XT M8100 brakes, for example, the BR-M8120 caliper takes SINTER 003 and the BR-M8100 takes SINTER 004.
