SINTER 002 pads are organic: friction material bonded with resin, developed and made in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Organic pads bite quickly, run quietly and are gentle on rotors. Despite the name, Sinter only makes organic, resin-bonded brake pads.
Every set ships with a bedding-in card. In short: clean and degrease the rotor, then find a traffic-free stretch. Ride at 15 km/h (10 mph) and brake 20 times down to 5 km/h. Then brake 10 times, harder, from 25 km/h (15 mph), and finally twice, hard, from 30 km/h (20 mph) — each time down to 5 km/h, never locking the wheels. This transfers an even film of pad material onto the rotor. Full instructions are in the Bedding-in guide.
